A Favourite Musical Son is
Back in Town
Look who's back in town!
Native son Rob Reed returns
to Mississauga this week, after a five-year tour of
Europe's five star hotels. A slick singer and keyboardist
Reed boasts a repertoire that includes an amazing 8,000
songs. Reed will be serving up songs in several different
languages. " I have a 20 minute set of Japanese
folk songs. Who else has that?" He's best known
though for spearheading the annual Rob Reed Toy Concert
and Restaurant Challenge, a pair of Christmas Charity
efforts that earned him a Civic Award of Recognition.

Rob Has A Knack
Rob has a knack for capturing
patrons in his musical web. By the second or third song
of the set, Reed has sized up his audience and consciously
or subconsciously, with a familiar nod or smile, the
evening becomes interactive. With his polished style
and affable nature, Reed weaves a seamless, soothing,
musical backdrop, integrating songs for older and younger
generation. One of the prime reasons Reed draws a sense
of loyalty from customers is that he brings a family
feeling to a room, recognizes special events and even
more amazingly, remembers them. He is respectful and
sensitive.

Spread The Joy
Corporate Sponsors are now being
sought for the Rob Reed Toy Concert. "Christmas
toys are a reward for the kindness and love our children
share with us throughout the years " Reed said
" No child should suffer the pain of being 'overlooked'
by Santa on Christmas Eve."
Not only does Reed perform but
also he donates his time as producer, songwriter, fundraiser
and promoter. The story (conceived by Reed) is about
Holly, an unfortunate, unselfish young girl whose only
wish for the holidays is that other children enjoy a
Merry Christmas. Those wishing to sponsor the event
can contact Reed directly.
